CSS stands for Comsats Science Society created by the students of Comsats so that students can grow as people and learn or improve their skills. It is the most significant society of Comsats university Islamabad and continues to grow.
There are a variety of teams in the CSS society from which the students can choose according to their area of interest. The teams include Graphics team, Content writing team, Social Media team, Event management team, Marketing team and Videography team. Heads of the society along with the heads of each team arrange events and activities for the members of the CSS where they educate the students about different important subjects that are usually not part of the university curriculum.

The years we spend in our university shouldn’t be just about attending lectures, completing assignments and attempting quizzes rather, we must ready ourselves for our professional lives. CSS makes this possible as it allows us to interact with new people and work with them in different situations which helps boost confidence. Furthermore, CSS promotes the responsible members of the teams to authoritative positions of the society allowing students to develop their leadership qualities that will surely help them in their future careers.
Great talent and effort are always invited and encouraged hence small businesses owned by the members of CSS are promoted within the societies and further, giving a kick start to their career lives.
The students are also given job opportunities which they can choose to do required they have the needed skills to take the slot.
Moreover, small sessions are conducted in collaboration with well-known and famous figures for the members of the CSS where they teach different skills or give life advice to the audience. In the previous semesters, significant figures like Raja Zia Ul Haq, Tuaha Ibn Jalil, Khurram Alvi Muzammil Hassan and Ali Haider Farooq have been a part of the CSS sessions.
CSS is not just about personal development of the students, rather members of the society are regularly given charity opportunities as CSS has become a trusted society where people can reach out when they need financial support.
