With the rapid increase in technology, a lot has changed in the IT world. One of the major developments is the introduction of search engine optimization.

  8. Monitor competing backlinks for underperforming content
  9. Fix pages with broken backlinks
  10. Convert images into backlinks
  11. Optimize for ‘definition’ featured snippets
  12. Embed your videos in relevant posts
  13. Make sure your site’s secure
  14. Make your content easier to read. Keep your sentences and paragraphs short to improve readability.
  15. Also focus on social media marketing! That plays a major role as they grab users attention the most!
  16. Keep a check in your raking and look for the websites above you and know what you’re lacking in!

As a matter of fact based on a recent study, it shows that 93% of online activities start with search engines. And how you rank for certain keywords will depend on your domain authority, which of course is affected by other SEO factors too. However, Google and other search engines like Yahoo and Bing continuously make changes to their algorithms to create a better search experience for their users. That’s why it’s important for small business owners and marketers to stay up-to-date on the latest in SEO tricks if they want to continue to rank higher on the search engines!
